Do you want to be a novelist? If you are enthusiatic about fiction and want to tackle a novel, come along to our next novel writing workshop and get started.
This is a short introductory course for researching and writing a novel. There is a strong emphasis on practical advice. It is suitable for beginners and those with previous writing experience and for beginners. It can also help you decide whether to sign up for a university fiction writing MA or diploma, or one of the longer courses offered by agents and publishers. The workshop is fun and interactive, geared towards dealing with all your queries.
The course is led by Peter Carty. Peter is a book reviewer for The Financial Times, The Observer, The Independent, The I newspaper and Time Out. His novel Art was published recently to widespread acclaim across national media.
The workshop fee includes post-course support and feedback for answering your further queries about fiction writing and for feedback on the outline for your novel.
The workshop will use my novel Art as a case study. It's not essential that you have read a copy beforehand, but it would be useful. Art is all about the birth of the Young British Artist scene in Hoxton in the early 1990s. It has received great reviews across national media. There are review extracts below as well and other information about the novel - including how to obtain a copy.
The workshop fee is £125 (In-Person) or £95 (Via Zoom). The fee includes post-course support and feedback for answering your further queries about fiction writing and for feedback on the outline for your novel.
